The biggest botanical garden in Malaysia, the Putrajaya Botanical Garden covers an area over 92 hectares. The park is divided into three sections - flowers, ornamental plants and preservation/research purposes.
The garden currently has more than 700 species of flowering plants, local plants as well as plants from the Asia-Pacific and Africa regions.
The area also serves as a research centre, with its multi-purpose collection. Kids will be delighted with the huge collection and exotic flowers, and educationists will be able to see many species of plants at the research centre.
There is also a Visitors' Interpretative Centre (VIC), explorer's trail, palm hill, sun and floral gardens for visitors wishing to experience more from the Botanical Garden. (copy paste)
Punyalah besar Taman Botani ini sampai penat nak berjalan. Separuh jalan jea boleh pusing-pusing. Nak lebih lagi korang kena naik basikal atau naiklah kereta yang disediakan kat situ. Tempat ini sangat sesuai untuk beriadah, jogging, picnic, photoshoot dan mcm2 lagi boleh buat yea. Segar jea rasa bila dapat dekat dengan tumbuhan yang cantik ini.
Bunga-bunga kat sini semuanya terjaga dengan cantik siap ada penerangan ringkas lagi untuk sesiapa yang nak tahu nama bunga atau tumbuhan yang ada.
Kalau boleh nak lepak jea lama-lama kat atas ini tapi banyak lagi tempat yang menarik.
Laluan untuk berbasikal dan jogging disediakan dan kawasan nya memang bersih.
Salah satu keistimewaannya ialah Canopy Bridge. Kat atas ini kita dapat lihat sekitar kawasan taman botani yang segar.
